is an old but useful
tool I wrote. I like to have small windows showing logfiles with
tail -F
on my desktop, and it always annoyed me that this wastes one
line, showing nothing but the cursor.

to the rescue, which disables the cursor and only outputs the
final newline after the next line has arrived, thus making use of the
last display line as well:
