The Welsh Marilyns

The 1549 Marilyns are the British hills which have a clear drop of 500 feet or 150m all round.
They are listed in the book The Relative Hills of Britain by Alan Dawson (Cicerone Press 1992)

This subset lists the 155 Welsh Marilyns with links to my diary which describes our ascent of many of the lower hills.
We had climbed all the hills over 2000' before acquiring the Marilyn list but I subsequently did a continuous walk over all the Welsh two-thousanders. The links for these higher hills are to the relevant pages in my diary of this walk Across the Dragon's Back
